Our VIP red dune safari in Dubai is the evening safari done properly. You ride out to the deep-red dunes in a 4x4, catch the sunset from the ridges, then skip every queue at camp: your table is reserved at the front and dinner comes to you.
The red sand around Lahbab is softer, higher and more photogenic than the pale dunes closer to the city, which is why we run this safari there. After the dune drive you have time for a camel ride, sandboarding and henna before the belly dance, fire and Tanoura shows begin.
It is the easiest way to upgrade a classic desert safari without paying private-tour prices, and a favourite for anniversaries, birthdays and first nights in Dubai.
